What are TEDxBrighton doing for the community this year?
Through our work with the community over the years, we’re lucky to have worked with some amazing local people and groups.
We’re looking for charities, groups and projects that can get tickets into the hands of people, who might not otherwise be able to attend events like TEDx. Whether that be due to money, geography, social exclusion or any other challenge.
Any group, organisation or charity can be nominated or apply. However, this year we are specifically looking for projects that support:
- Young people
- Refugees and immigrants
- Survivors of abuse
- People struggling with their mental health
- People who have experience social isolation
- People who have been excluded from work or education
